In this unprecedented global health crisis, DRT has decided to give its support to healthcare professionals. Since April 1st, the production units of the company have been mobilized to produce hand sanitizers which have been in extremely short supply since the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic.
DRT will distribute, free of charge, 2250 litres of hydro alcoholic lotion each week to the local hospital centres of Mont-de-Marsan, Dax and to local communities which will redistribute the hand sanitizer to the retirement homes of the region.
Also, thanks to a partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the region (CCI Les Landes), the company Arts&Cos will package the hand sanitizers in individual containers and redistribute them to local companies.
This humanitarian effort was made possible thanks to the mobilisation of DRT’s production teams. DRT would like to acknowledge and thank them for their involvement: “It seemed important that as responsible chemists, we contribute to fight this health crisis with the means at our disposal. Without the commitment of our teams, without their courage and motivation, we wouldn’t have been able to be operational so quickly. We’d like to tell them Thank You!” declared Laurent Labatut, DRT’s president.
